His face used to get so much that even his mother used to face difficulty in identifying with the birth of both of them. However, nothing mattered except for his strengths. Both the behavior and personality of the two were different. Both did not agree with each other's words nor did their views match each other.

Sam had no friends while friendship was life for Tom. Sam loved sweets while Tom loved to eat hot. Sam was his mother's favorite, while Tom was his father's. Sam was moderate while Tom was greedy.

When he grew up, then his father proposed to distribute his property equally between the two. But Tom did not agree to this and started saying that  who is more intelligent and powerful should get more money.
Sam agreed, His father decided to have a competition between the two. He ordered both of his sons to get as far as possible, but would have to come back even before dusk. Whoever comes first will be the winner and will get more share of the property and also forbids to take the watch.
Both brothers left the next day. Sam started walking very slowly at the same speed while Tom was on the winning track so he started to walk very fast.

The more distance they complete by the day, the more it takes them to come back. It was late in the afternoon, so Sam thought that it would be appropriate to go back, so he went back towards home so that he could reach home by time.
In contrast, Tom was lured by the property. He did not turn back even after noon. He had gone twice as long as Sam. Shortly before sunset, he decided to walk back. But due to his stupidity and greed, he could not reach home in time and reached home only after the moon came out in the sky. Sam who had already reached home in time won this competition.
