The Crystal Ball Story - Short Stories For Kids
The Crystal Ball Story
The Crystal Ball Story: In the south of Spain, there was a small village whose people were very happy. Children used to play under the shade of trees in the gardens of their homes.

A shepherd boy named Nasir lived near the village with his father, mother and grandmother. Each morning, he carried his flock of goats to the hills to find a suitable place for them to graze. In the afternoon he would return to the village with them. Every night his grandmother used to tell him a story - the story of stars. Nasir was really interested in this story.

As one of those days, Nasir was watching his flock and playing his flute, he suddenly saw a wonderful light behind a flowering bush. When he reached the bush, he saw a transparent and very beautiful crystal ball.

The crystal ball was shining like a colorful rainbow. Nasir cautiously took it in his hand and mounted it. With surprise, suddenly, he heard a weak voice from the crystal ball. It said, "You can make a wish that your heart wants and I will fulfill it."

Nasser could not believe that he had actually heard a voice. When he made sure that he actually heard that voice from the crystal ball, he was very confused. He had so many desires that he could not decide on a particular wish. He told himself, "If I wait till tomorrow, I will remember many things." Then I will make my wish. '

He put the crystal ball in a bag and happily gathered the herd and returned to the village. He decided that he would not tell anyone about the crystal ball.

Even the next day, Nasser couldn't decide what he needed, because he really had everything he needed.

The days passed as usual, but Nasir still could not make his wish. But he appeared very cheerful. People around him were amazed to see the change in his nature.

One day, a boy followed Nasir and his flock and hid behind a tree. Naseer, as usual, took out a crystal ball sitting in a corner and looked at it for a moment. The boy was waiting for the moment when Nasir would fall asleep. When Nasir fell asleep a short time later, the boy ran away with a crystal ball.

When they reached the village, they called all the people and showed them the crystal ball. The citizens of that village took the crystal ball in their hands and turned it around with surprise. Suddenly he heard a voice from inside the crystal ball that said, "I can do your wish." One person took the ball and shouted, "I want a bag full of gold." Another took the ball and said loudly, "I want two chests full of jewels." Some of them wished they would have their own palace with grand doors made of pure gold instead of their old houses. Some others wished for a bag full of jewels.

All his wishes were fulfilled, but still the citizens of the village were not happy. They were jealous because the person who had the palace had no gold and the person who had the gold had no palace. For this reason, the citizens of the village were angry with each other and stopped speaking to each other. The village gardens where the children used to play are no longer there. There were palaces and gold everywhere. The children became miserable. Only Nasir and his family were happy and satisfied. Every morning and afternoon he played the flute.

One day the village children took the crystal ball to Nasir. The children said to Nasir, "When we had a small village, we were all happy and joyful." Parents also spoke. He said, "In one way or another, we are all sad. Magnificent palaces and jewels only hurts us. "

When Nasser noticed that people were really regretting, he said, "Even though Crystal Ball has asked me to do something, I haven't done it yet." But if you really want everything to return to its place, I will. " Best wishes for this "

Everyone was overwhelmed with happiness. Naseer took the crystal ball in his hand, swung it and wished that the village be as it was before. In an instant, the palaces disappeared, green gardens appeared, and there was the same old village full of trees.

Once again people started living happily and children started playing in the shade of trees. Nasir continued his life playing his flute at sunset every day. Its melodious sound was heard throughout the beautiful village.
