Thirsty Crow Short Story In English With Moral

Thirsty Crow Short Story; Once a thirsty crow was wandering in search of water. Due to the intense heat and constant blowing, his thirst started to increase further. He started thinking- "If I don't get water soon then my death is sure." 

He was thinking that then he saw a pot of water far away. He immediately reached there and looked into the pot. There was water in it, but the water was so low that its beak could not reach there. 

He got upset seeing this. He started looking around. Maybe water is seen in another vessel, or perhaps some other pot is found. But he could not see anything like this.

 Frustrated, he wanted to go from there when his eyes went to the pebbles and stones to build a house just a short distance from the pitcher. A thought flashed in his mind as soon as he saw the stones. 

He went to the pebbles and brought the pebbles in his beak and put it in the pitcher.

In no time, his hard work paid off and the water level of the pitcher reached the top. Now the crow could drink water very easily. 

He put his beak in the pitcher and drank water with a full heart. His thirst had disappeared. Now he started to feel himself. 

For some time, he rested there and then flew away in search of food.
